Josephine has worked in museums and heritage for over 20 years and has extensive experience delivering interpretation and exhibition projects both indoor and outdoors and across a huge gamut of subject matter from rowing boats to damseflies.
She started her career with a holiday job as a castle tour-guide (in a tartan kilt and waistcoat) in the 1990s. Everything Jo has done since has built on her fascination with the connection between people, places and landscapes, and in finding the creative spark. Most recently she has worked for the National Trust for Scotland, and before that on Glasgow Museums’ award winning Riverside Project.
Jo takes great pleasure in what others bring to the process and always enjoys the journey from blue sky to finished product, and the surprising twists and turns along the way. She pull together teams of the best creative people to suit each project and often works with illustrators, designers, filmmakers, sculptors, writers and digital and AV specialists.
Outside of her work Jo loves to walk in nature, to sing old songs and write new ones (lastonesleft.bandcamp.com) and to make and mend things.
